Encore Players:  High School

Spotlight Arts Collective’s Developing Actors Studio gives young performers a structured, high-quality theatre experience led by certified educators. Through classes, workshops, and live productions, students build acting skills, confidence, creativity, collaboration, and stage experience in a supportive environment.

Classes and workshops are held at the Joseph P. Spencer Studio for the Arts, 120 Jessie Street, Manhattan, IL 60442. Each June, Developing Actors take the next step onto the mainstage at Lincoln-Way West High School, 21701 S. Gougar Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, performing in full theatrical productions that give young actors experience with a professional stage, technical elements, rehearsals, and live audiences.

From first-time performers to experienced young actors, this program is designed to help every participant grow through meaningful instruction and authentic performance opportunities.
